'Volta' writing anthology of RMIT students for 2013

exert from the editors note:

The title Volta comes from the Latin word "voluto" meaning to roll, twist, turn, but also to orbit and to ponder. Volta is the name of a scientist who invented the battery.
Volta is the name of a river in Ghana. Volta is the name of a Medieval dance, and a term describing a dramatic shift in a sonnet.

What then is the connection between a scientist, river, medieval dance and a literary term? -Electricity, conduits, flow, natural geometry and movement.

Volta represents the fluidity of meaning.
